Things make sense here

Story time.. when I was a young dancer, I loved coming to my studio.. sharing stories with my friends and stretching, we'd take class and go home. Don't get me wrong I loved every minute of it, but I wish we had a little more camaraderie ... I took it upon myself to read about ballet, modern dance, and the arts. I was interested first. My grandmother and I would walk to the libary, and I would always ask for books on classic ballets. Just think of a tiny little me barely able to look over the lobby front desk asking for books on Tchaikovsky.

As I got older, and joined different studios, I noticed they were mostly the same critieria.. Arrive early.. stretch.. take class.. go home.
As a teenager I promised myself that my dance studio would be very different. And it is! I kept my promise (yay)
AMB Dance Theatre is literally my dancers favorite place to be. (they have told me many times) It’s a really nice compliment, to see my dancers feel so comfortable in their dance studio.

On top of AMB Dance Theatre being super comfy! There are a few more things that just make sense…
The treasure chest!
I love to reward my dancers. Progress is a good thing and should be rewarded. Dancers work so hard training consistently and when your hard work pays off.. it’s time to celebrate!
Homework! (Yuuuuup)
Dance doesn’t stop in the studio. You have to work out at home too. I encourage my dancers to teach what they are taught in class, to someone at home. It helps remember choreography, and it builds confidence.
Portfolios
My dancers build portfolios, learn how to create a resume, and stay organized.
These are just three things that make sense here, there is more! You have to come find out for yourself. :) hint hint
